Was in that very port Oct. 29th, saw that ship. Those are the el-cheapo single day trips from mainland Florida to Bahamas.

Actually, I would call them large ferries. A cruise is a destination itself. These are one way transports,

If you watch them load up on the FL side of the trip, Bahamians are bringing supplies back to the islands.

I haven’t been on one for years, but it isn’t a bad way to get across the water for a long weekend. It’s the same time door to door as going to an airport. You don’t fly in a tiny plane, and you can usually gamble to pass the time.
