It’s about 1/2 the size of a regular model. Thenthing to re, embernabout models, the smaller the size, the less the detail. Paintingnthe details is where we modellers get satisfaction.

With regards to the NYTimes article that calls for the cancellation of midterms, remember this:
I made the following prediction last May or June: If you WANTED another terrorist attack on US soil, what would you do?
1. Publicly rebuke Isreal, sending a clear message to the islamofascists…..Done already by John Kerry!
2. Take passive approach with terrorist regimes…..Done consistently by this admin with Libya, Syria, etc.
3. Remove US military might from terrorist strong-holds….Done with removal of troops from Iraq, now we see it being re-taken by terrorists.
4. Allow Iran to enrich uranium which can be weaponized……done earlier this year.
5. Open the borders to allow anyone to enter….happening now.
6. Release known high level terrorist scumbags back to their home region, allowing them to re-enter the planning to attack the US….Check.
7. Demoralize our fighting men and women…..It has been happening consistently with this administration but has been accelerating with the VA treatment, the Sgt Tamareesi situation and now with the celebrating of the defector.
Now, why would anyone WANT a terrorist attack on US soil? Imagine if it were to occur within the next 2 years....
Well, then you would have a reason for “delaying an election as you work hard to protect the citizens.” It isn’t as if this administration has a respect for the rule of law or anything, so why would they feel obligated to follow election laws….
After all, imagine an event worse than 9-11 and then ask yourself if that could cause the populace to “cry for action.”

Rush just reporting from the Politico that the Republican Establishment is more happy about the supposed destruction of the Tea Party than it is about taking the majority and beating the Democrats.
We are so screwed.

Not as much as some. When I lived in Iowa, we used to play a game called Mustangs and Messchersmitts that used 72 scale WW2 airplanes. Did a lot then. Did a few car models, just because I liked some cars.
Plus, one car I did just to prove a point. That was, a 1989 Ford Thunderbird Super coupe. I felt the car would be more attractive if you got rid of the back seat and went back to its 2-seater roots. So, I hacked off the back seat and shortened the body.
With a few body changes, it looked a lot like the retro Tbird they brought out a few years later. It was nice to know I was right..
And Politico runs it the day before the election to suppress the votes of conservatives.
Another article, one that counters the Politico article, says that Ted Cruz has spent the last couple of months working to get out the Conservative vote for GOap candidates that Conservatives opposed in the primaries. Cruz is uniting the party, not to hand over control to the Liberal Republicans, but to secure some backing from those Liberals, in pay back for his help.
The moderate Republicans know. Now, that they do need the conservatives. This is an anti-Obama vote, and it does not mean that the GOP is moving toward the center. It means that Obama has united the GOP, and if the GOP wants to get avoid extinction, the moderate Republicans will have to work with the Consevatives, not with the a Democrats.
Republicans vote tomorrow, and democRats vote Wednesday, when the lines are shorter."
