I vote absentee and this year I’m hand carrying my son’s ballot. I making sure his vote is counted while he is serving with the Marines. Jerry Brown will probably win, but I want the margin to be as small as possible.

Some prominent Republicans seem to be feeling their oats

My fear (and expectation) is that if they do win the senate they will go back to what they were doing when Bush was president.

That is, slopping at the pig trough, making themselves and their pals rich, and ignoring the people who voted for them.

In other words, more or less what democrats do.

If you think about it honestly, much of what has happened since 2008 could have been avoided had republicans done their jobs between 2000 and 2008.

In fact, if they had they done a good job in those years, it is quite unlikely Obama would have ever been elected.
