Of course the government can be ‘enumerated’ to stop someone from taking a life. It can also be ‘enumerated’ to take someone’s life. You shifted the goal-posts from ‘rights’ to enumerations.

People may have the DESIRE to commit suicide and they might have the ABILITY to commit suicide; but, having a desire and/or the ability to commit suicide doesn't translate into a right any more than it does with any other type of homicide.

I was responding that governments DO NOT have rights, they have enumerated powers and, yes, governments ARE enumerated with the power to stop someone from taking life. It's really quite simple (though anarchists never seem to get it):

I apologize. I have no intention of promoting anything other than the above. None of my posts were intended to do so. I was speaking from a position of personal freedom but I will refrain from posting on that topic in the future.
You have a mechanistic and legalistic concept. Yes, you disagree, but not on the basis of having a personal knowledge of the Lord.
We don’t need to be acting like the Muslims do when their Allah is blasphemed. God understands our being angry at Him. What He insists upon is our hearing His answer, and no it isn’t a blunt “Go to hell.”
It is a common theological misunderstanding. I’ve even known devout Jews who think the book of Job is crazy. One needs to have a heart grasp of the goals of the Lord before one can start to make sense of the Job story.

The Hebrew word translated "kill" in the KJV is more accurately translated "murder". The rest of scripture supports (even commands in places) execution of the guilty, and supports self defense. But killing an innocent (murder) is never allowed.
I didnt condemn anyone. I merely pointed out that God condemns murderers to hell.
Read your bible. There is only one sin where one this is Gods punishment.
To be totally accurate the only sin that sends one to hell is dying without having Jesus as your Savior. In order to accept Jesus as your Savior you must repent of your sins (turn away from them and turn towards Jesus). A murderer who murders herself is NOT turning towards Jesus, she is turning away from Him.
Additionally 1 Cor 6:9-10 states that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Murder is definitely unrighteous.
I’ve been saved since 1987. I have a very personal relationship with the Lord. So much so that I seek to know more and more of Him. And since HE was gracious enough to write down so very much about Himself in the bible, I seek to learn the bible. And the Bible tells us that the LORD directly commanded “Thou shalt not murder”.
So, do I trust what God says about Himself in His word, or do I go by mere feelings and the faulty judgements of man? I’ll stick to the Word of God thank you very much.
“Thou shalt not murder” includes the prohibition against murdering ourselves. Unfortunately this woman will likely never escape the torment she tried to take the easy way out to avoid. She unrepentedly murdered herself.
(as an aside, it is useful at times to have a legalistic understanding of scripture as ALL of Salvation is a very legalistic matter. God gave us the law, and Christ fulfilled it to the very letter of the law. Only by accepting that sacrifice (which was offered in accordance with the law) can we become parties to the contract (covenant) that sacrifice seals.
It’s insanity to me to think that God did not mean exactly what He says in His word. No where does it ever say “Thou shalt not murder, except for yourself. If you want to off yourself that’s perfectly fine with me” Since God did not write any exceptions to “thou shalt not murder” there must not be any exceptions to it.

One has to be very careful about tenses. Her life did not end the very moment she popped the pills. The conclusion should be obvious.
You might also recall that Moses warned the Israelites that they could not keep the law. Proudly, they spurned his advice and insisted they could just the same.
I fear your “personal relationship” is as yet shallow. Has he made a difference in your life besides showing a form of religion? Has he not just stopped some bad habits, but turned them back to the good?
