If I am not mistaken Lieberman became a Independent because the rats ticked him off with their dishonesty
Well, Lieberman was just continuing his campaign after losing the primary to run as an independent (actually I think he formed the “Joe Lieberman” party if I’m remembering right) and Murkowski still ran as a Republican but as a write-in...apparently in Alaska they can still declare a party even if it is a write-in - very bizarre law. After she won, she pretty much doesn’t care to even try to fake being conservative occasionally - really has let loose and votes with the Democrats more than she votes with the Republicans.
I think Angus may caucus with the GOP if they win.
