Israel is the country most hated by Turkish citizens, a Pew Research Center poll released last week found. Responders were asked whether they have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of a selection of states (US, China, Brazil, Russia, Iran, Israel) and entities (such as the European Union and Nation).
Israel was found the most disliked country of the offered options, with 86 percent of responders saying they have an unfavorable opinion of Israel and only 2 percent seeing Israel in a positive light...

Not many years ago, the moderate Islamic Turkey was perhaps Israel's most trusted ally in the region. However with the rise of the Erdoğan administration, Turkey has embarked on a hard turn towards Islam and anti-semitism. Since the incident with the Gaza Flotilla where Turkish ship (MV Mavi Marmara) was boarded by Israeli soldiers, Turkey has been outright beligerent towards Israel.
Ezekiel 38-39 lists a coalition of nations that attacks Israel. Turkey (Gomer and Togarmah) in prominently listed in this coalition. It is presumed that this coalition is responding to the aftermath of a middle east war between Israel and the nations surrounding it (Psalms 83).

Not many years ago, the moderate Islamic Turkey was perhaps Israel's most trusted ally in the region.I suspect the Turkish generals had no problem with Israel in the same way the leadership of many Arab countries have had secret dealings with Israel. The man on the street is considerably less tolerant, and has dragged the leadership into confrontation.

Armenia are buds with the Iranians, make of that whatever you can.
To: Jan_Sobieski
I’m not entirely sure. I was just alluding to the fact that Turkey has occasionally been, um, unpleasant to the Armenians.

Agree...the Armenian Genocide was a blueprint for Hitler. However, the countries in Putin’s orbit seem to be laying aside their past differences to counterbalance NATO. It is amazing that these countries seem to match Ezekiel 38 almost identically.

Turkey...
If this is supposed to make me think Israel isn't worth supporting, it didn't work.
As for Turkey, it's stuck in a self-destruct mode resembling Russia before the insanity leaked over it's borders into the international community.
One would hope both nations would re-think their incredibly ill thought plans. Seldom are nations this far gone self-correcting.

This shows yet again the power of the MSM to mobilize public opinion. Turkey’s MSM isn’t our MSM—they hate in Turkish—but the principle is the same world wide.

Turkey's moving in the direction of becoming a total ME hellhole.
Who cares what they think?
Maybe ISIS cares... or Iran with their intrigues to take over the ME... other than that it's a yawn. An Islamic State that hates... no surprise there.
