Kaci Hickox Was A ‘Disease Detective’ For The CDC
The Inquisitr News ^ | November 1, 2014

Posted on 11/01/2014 3:04:09 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Kaci Hickox was a “disease detective” for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), according to a widely overlooked part of her op-ed for the Dallas Morning News.

While Hickox did not fail to disclose this information to readers — or rather, the Dallas Morning News didn’t — Conservative news sites have recently taken notice and commenced calling her out on the connection.

Hickox has received much criticism from the Right and the Left for her defiance of a mandatory quarantine order.

A Maine judge recently upheld that defiance, allowing her to come and go as she pleases for the remainder of the 21-day period associated with developing symptoms for the Ebola virus.

Piers Morgan called her actions “recklessly selfish,” and a majority of Americans agree.

At Mediaite, commenters had a hate-fest for Kaci Hickox, with one woman stating that she felt Hickox “deserved” Ebola.

“I never wish Ebola on anyone, but if anyone deserves to get it, it’s this woman. May she go back to Africa and stay there.”(continued)

Which means she worked for Mr. Obama.

IF she violates the quarantine order and someone gets sick or dies from the exposure she is fair game for lawsuits and manslaughter charges.

She’s a political operative.

There is constant control tension between the feds and states over certain matters, and THIS is one of them.

GayMuzzie wants to amnesty all those folks and if immediately prior to doing that he was forced to demonstrate that getting control of the borders with Ebola was a very simple matter, then later it wouldn’t look so hot for Amnesty, right..?

“For Ebola we CAN, but for a little kid invasion, uh....we CAN’T..!”

Looks bad, right?

So to head this off she goes over there, precipitates this crisis and GayMuzzie buys off N.J. Fat Boy, who promptly shuts up, thereby removing the pressure on the Feds to shape up.

With Obama there is ALWAYS a secret BACKSTORY.

Why sue someone who does not have deep pockets?

Can they sue the judge for this reckless decision?

It turns out that disease detectives flew to Dallas and kept track of everyone in contact with Mr. Duncan.

And their goal?

Their goal was to find those people, keep track of them, and make sure they continue to go about their daily lives as usual with apparently no quarantine.

If that's the plan "detectives" were using in Liberia and S. Leone, then no wonder the disease grew out of control in those countries.

CDC ADMITS DROPLETS FROM A SNEEZE COULD SPREAD EBOLA

The histrionic nurse who refused to obey the Ebola quarantine is another Sandra Fluke, a publicity seeker sociopath that should be put in jail rather than in quarantine.

This nurse is a typical democratic spoiled brat that in pursuit of his political agenda she puts in grave danger the health of her family and neighbors. If she had arrived in NY, where the governor is Democrat, instead of NJ, probably she would have not mounted such a disgraceful show.

While Obama disregards the Ebola menace, the Ebola panic spreads at the Defense Department.

Soldiers returning home from Ebola infested African countries are quarantine 21 days in Italy before entering U.S.

430 doctors and nurses died killed by the disease while treating Ebola patients in Africa...

Some African countries put 42 days in quarantine those coming from Ebola countries.

Why are health care workers coming from Ebola countries not forced to be at least 21 days in quarantine when they return to U.S.A. for the protection of their own families and the country?

TAKES ONE’S BREATH AWAY....:

This is mind boggling!!! Don’t you think its about time Pee Wee developed a PLAN??? This is a time for LEADERSHIP, not his constant waffling. Is it time to panic? Of course not. The time to panic is when it is too late to develop a consistent plan of action. What is the incubation time for STUPIDITY?

Lewiston Idaho veterinarian’s Letter to the Editor re: Ebola, Nails it!

The present Ebola crisis in the world is frightening. I have submitted the following letter to the editor of the Lewiston Morning Tribune:

Editor, Lewiston Morning Tribune:

If I wish to import a horse into the United States from Liberia or any African country other than Morocco, the horse needs to undergo a 60 day quarantine period at a USDA approved quarantine facility prior to mingling with the general population of horses in this country. Africa has a disease called African Horse Sickness that does not exist in the US; this is the way we have kept it out of this country.

African Horse Sickness does not cause disease in people, only horses; our government has determined that it would be devastating to the US horse industry if it were to come here.

The United States (and virtually all other countries) require a myriad of tests and often quarantine prior to bringing in a foreign animal.

I can’t legally cross state lines in the United States with a horse or cow without a health certificate signed by a USDA accredited veterinarian stating that the animal has been inspected and found free of infectious disease. In most cases blood tests are also required. In fact I can’t legally cross the Snake River and ride my horse in Idaho without a health certificate and a negative blood test for Equine Infectious Anemia.

I’m not complaining; the United States of America, the States of Idaho and Washington as well as the other 48 states take the health of our livestock very seriously, and we have a very good record at keeping foreign animal diseases out of our country. I am happy to do my part to maintain biosecurity in our animal population.

If I am a resident of Liberia incubating Ebola, to enter the United States all I need to do is present a valid visa, and lie when asked if I have been exposed to Ebola. Within hours (no quarantine required) I can be walking the streets of any city in the United States.

I feel very fortunate to live in a country that values our animals so highly.

Actually she is an intelligence officer for the CDC

The article mentions how nurse’s linkedin page was scrubbed, but here is what was found:
From the article:
http://www.naturalnews.com/047444_Ebola_quarantine_Kaci_Hickox_intelligence_officer.html

As you can see from the document below, Hickox graduated from a two-year CDC intelligence officer training program in 2012.

The official intelligence designation granted to Nurse Hickox by the CDC was “Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer,” and she is a graduate of the 2012 EIS program according to this CDC document (PDF). (See page 138 - 139 for her name and photo, or view photo below.)

I suspect that if she does succumb to Ebola we will never hear about it. If she then dies of this disease, we will be told she died from something else.

They are spinning like tops:

"While Hickox did not fail to disclose this information to readers — or rather, the Dallas Morning News didn’t..."

Apparently refers to this text from her original article (or at least one of the edits to it:

Dr. Seema Yasmin, a Dallas Morning News staff writer, worked with Hickox as a disease detective with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. With Yasmin’s help, Hickox wrote this first-person piece exclusively for the News

But that's a pretty tenuous "disclosure", since what the sentence really discloses is that Dr. Yasmin, when she was a CDC disease detective, worked with Hickox. The sentence says nothing about whether or not Ms. Hickox also worked at the CDC. Had that been the intent of the sentence, a normally skilled author would have written the sentence differently. Something like "Dr. Seema Yasmin, a Dallas Morning News staff writer, and Ms. Hickox worked together as disease detectives with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

So really the author went out of her way to not disclose Ms. Hickox as a fellow CDC employee.

Kaci Hickox wasn't so much as a “disease detective” for CDC as she is a knuckle dragging moron. Combining stupidity with narcissism with a disease like Ebola is an inducement to a pandemic.
