North Korean leader Kim Jong Un expressed dissatisfaction during a recent inspection of the construction of Terminal 2 at Pyongyangs Sunan International Airport, the state-run Korean Central News Agency reported Saturday.
Construction at the airport, which has been undergoing renovations since 2011, will now be halted while modified designs for the interior are prepared.
Defects were manifested in the last phase of the construction of the Terminal 2 because the designers failed to bear in mind the partys idea of architectural beauty that it is the life and soul and core in architecture to preserve the Juche character and national identity, Kim Jong Un said in comments carried by KCNA.
It is necessary to finish the construction of the terminal to be an icon of Songun Korea, the face of the country and the gateway to Pyongyang Kim added.

heads are gonna roll, literally.
The most ridiculous country in the world...Need to send the UN there.
Yeah, too funny. Communist concept of architectural beauty; squares, rectangles, concrete, steel casement windows - all gray.

Opening of N. Korea-China bridge indefinitely delayed
October 31, 2014
BEIJING (Yonhap) The opening of a major new bridge between North Korea and China has been indefinitely postponed, Chinese state media reported Friday, amid Beijings frosty attitude toward its troublesome neighbor Pyongyang.
The report by the Global Times, a newspaper run by Chinas official Communist Party mouthpiece Peoples Daily, blamed North Korea for failing to build facilities for its part of the bridge as scheduled.
Chinas state media have reported that the opening of the 3-kilometer, 2.2 billion yuan (US$359 million) bridge, which links the Norths border city of Sinuiju to the neighboring Chinese city of Dandong over the river, also called the Yalu River in China, had been slated for this week.
In the story headlined, Opening Day of New China-North Korea Yalu River Bridge Indefinitely Delayed, the Global Times newspaper reported that the bridge had been fully completed and put into use on Oct. 30. However, it all becomes uncertain.
Zhang Hui, chairman of a Chinese construction company behind the bridge, told the newspaper that, Due to various reasons, construction was delayed for nearly a year.
It was unclear whether Zhangs comments indicated that the opening of the bridge has been delayed by one year.
A series of provocations by North Korea, including last years nuclear test, have strained political ties with its last-remaining ally, China. Still, many analysts believe that Beijing will not put strong pressure on Pyongyang due to the risk of aggravating the current situation.
I’m thinking that we need to headquarter the UN there. :=)
Or did you mean send them there permanently? (Sorry, I haven’t had my first cup of coffee yet.)
Send in Jimmah Cahtah.
Permanently, indefinitely, forever, till the end of time.
Gotta love that communist wardrobe. My hazmat suit at work has more style than the best outfit Kim Jong Un wears.
Thes photo’s of Kim are damed funny.
Every time he’s accompanied by an entourage of officers and other people who are constantly taking notes.
These poor s.o.b.’s must have writers cramp by the time their photo-op is finished.
By the way,Why the hell does an impoverished country like North Korea need a brand new air port terminal? Its not as if people are clamoring to visit that wonderful vacationland above the 38th Parallel.
I hope his feet fall off.
I thought this guy was dead. Not that it would improve anything. They would replace him with someone just as ridiculous.
With that being said, who will fly to this airport.
