If you live in an area with a competitive race, be it for Senate, governor or any other office, parties and activist organizations want to get you to the polls. In addition to phone calls, knocking on doors and offering rides, activists are now using a different tactic — vote-shaming.
Residents from Alaska to North Carolina to New York are reporting receiving letters with their voting history in them and a not-so-subtle message — vote this time or we’ll tell your neighbors you didn’t.
The letters don’t say which candidate a person voted for, that is impossible to know, but they say whether or not a person voted in past elections. This is public record. However, political parties can make an educated guess based on party registration, past or present, where you live, and other factors.
Public record or not, it’s still disturbing to many who open the letters.

If I got a letter like that, I’d find out who is in the outfit and start data mining all their public info looking for delinquent real estate payments, etc. Send it all back to them. See how they like it.
At a fundamental level, this letter is a threat and sending a threat thru the mail is a crime.

As we have learned through the IRS, the BATF, the FBI, numerous pols and bureaucrats and plutocrats, crimes among the ruling class are never punished. Punishments are for the non-protected class in Marxist culture.

My relative got a POSTCARD with giant x’s on it, his name and address.
It was from the Republican Party of MA, of course they are marxist RINO’s.
This was started by the gay mafia years ago when MA was denied the right, unconstitutionally by the Legislature to vote on gay marriage even though we had way more than the requisite signatures for the ballot measure.
The gay mafia started publishing and targeting those names and addresses publicly.
I, for one, do not cotton to Marxist "conscientization" strategies.
In fact, if I were a Democrat and some bottom feeding a$$-hat Democrat tried to shame me into voting, I would vote Republican just for pure spite and take a selfie in the voting booth to prove I did just that and then post it on Youtube with an article explaining what I did and why- along with a caption that read BITE ME!!!
Then, I would very loudly and very publicly re-register as an Independent.

When it comes to how and whether or not I vote, I couldn’t give a flying BLEEP less what my neighbors think!!!!!!!
Maybe we should find out who these a$$hats are and shame them!!!!!
Voting history is not the only thing that can be shouted from the rooftops to all and sundry.
Liberals always blame Republicans for what they do. They have been nailed for threatening voters so now it is “everybody does it.”
