Not any more, apparently.

"I have high regard for Cardinal Burke, but the ultimate softball question in an interview of a Catholic Cardinal must be, “Was Jesus right about mariage?”

Not any more, apparently.

I know, right?

It amazes me that clerics who supposedly know that Jesus is a Person of the Triune God, clerics of the Jesus Who is called the "Living God", could convince themselves that Jesus would not still know the precise state of the human heart in 2014, and every hair on our heads.

Did they think the Book of Revelation was written about the past? Do they think its predictions have already come and gone?

Jesus, who Was and Is and Is to Come, told the disciples where to drop their nets to find fish. Jesus told the disciples where to look down the road to find a young donkey for him to ride. Jesus turned water into wine. Jesus knew that the strange woman by the well had five husbands and was living in sin. Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead after three days. Jesus restored sight in the blind with His spit. He knew which disciple would betray Him. He restored the severed ear of a Roman soldier. He repeatedly demonstrated his supernatural understanding of the past, present and future.

Yet, gay lovers think that because He made no recorded comment in the scriptures about homosexual "marriage", that it is an OK thing to do. As if He just couldn't see that far into the future — the future of a world He had already conquered.
