Nurse Kaci Hickox defied Maine's mandatory Ebola quarantine on Thursday and headed out for a bike ride with her boyfriend.
The 33-year-old nurse left her home in Fort Kent, Maine with partner Ted Wilbur this morning, wearing gloves, a safety helmet and couple of layers of fleece to combat the bitter cold.
Miss Hickox broke her quarantine at 9am and took an ATV trail behind her home for the hour-long ride. A state trooper who had been stationed outside the house followed her in a police cruiser.
'It's just good to be out,' Miss Hickox told MailOnline as she left.
Maine police were monitoring her movements and public interactions but there was no court order to arrest the nurse.

Our baby is so precious. She loves poor Africans, and will do everything she can to help them. She loves them more than Americans, who are so prejudiced and hateful. She’s so smart too - she worked for the government and travelled the world. She knows better than anyone when she is infected or not.
Our precious baby is also so politically aware and active - she’s not going to let those racist, sexist governors boss her around. She’s so brave to stand up for her rights! How dare those nasty people not let her ride her bike!
The first idiot like this that actually gives Ebola to someone... should be shot by firing squad in public!

I wonder how much she has been quarantined from the boyfriend. Not to arouse prurient interest necessarily, but just wonder if he is afraid to get too close to her.
There is no court order to arrest her. Just as I thought, so the question is, why not?

From one of the Maine HC officials last evening on FNC, Maine is currently in court on this matter. Unlike this bitch, they are following the law. When and if they get a court order, she will go to jail is my take on what the woman said.
This should be considered attempted murder.

She is out in public. All she has to do is sneeze, or grasp a door knob, or any other many things, which she has had to do already.
If she is infected with Ebola those things will matter.
It will be hilarious if she comes down with full-blown Ebola symptoms.
