An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years.
The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The groups investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. Either they failed to tell the truth when they were summoned for jury duty, or they cast illegal votes. Both are crimes. The same group previously found that about 40,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland.
It is a federal crime to cast votes if you are not legally eligible to vote. Non-citizens, whether in the country legally or not, are prohibited from voting in most local and all state and federal elections. Yet the VVA investigation found that hundreds of non-citizens have been voting in Frederick County, Maryland. One in seven Maryland residents are non-U.S. citizens.

I understand that absentee and mail in ballots can be voided but what about votes collected by machine or at polling places?

This is why the IRS went after “True the Vote” so voraciously. The Republicans can’t contest voter fraud because of some obscure 1980’s agreement signed in NJ, but independent groups DEFINITELY can.
They need to sue government agencies and press for bringing charges against individuals that have voted illegally.
40,000 potential players, at $15,000 each. That’s $600 million split between Maryland and Virginia.
The $15,000 is the standard fine for fraudulent voting. That’s enough to fund various road and street pavement projects in each state for six months. Let’s get to work. We are paving roads for 2015.

It should be noted that Frederick County Maryland is a Republican stronghold in an otherwise Democrat held state, and has been for many years (so they are vetting their own rolls).

That consent decree has nothing to do with organized voter/election fraud. It is a false excuse.
NY has some insidious ballot proposals. One includes “aliens” in a new redistricting scheme. Another is a new “nonpartisan” redistricting plan to take the process out of the hands of the legislature. It will wind up more partisan than ever in this blue state. Their plans reach into the red counties. Check for similar proposals in your states, folks.

I quite agree that it's a steaming pile, but it's an excuse nonetheless.
Whether anyone is caught and prosecuted as a result of this lawsuit or not, it’s a great strategy provided it gets good circulation because if will make non-citizens (whether here legally or illegally) more aware of the risk they’ll be taking if they vote.
We’ll know it’s really working if some people who mailed their ballots in early show up at the registrar’s office asking for their ballots back. At a minimum though, the lawsuit should make them nervous.
Apparently back in 2004 elected officials Alex Mooney and Joe Bartlett took this Election Board Supervisor to task because they were not listed as having voted when in fact they had. That according to the Frederick News Post.
Again this is a case of the GOP needing to vet their own officials.
This is kind of slimy, sort of the political version of farting, and then blaming someone else.
If this gets on Charlotte news tonight, heads will roll. Otherwise, only the conservatives will hear about it.

I get so upset by this stuff anymore that I could cry! I really fear for Texas. The democrats WANT Texas so badly, and I believe Obama probably left most of those 2X and 3X panty size illegal ‘children’ here in Texas for illegal voting either now or in 2016.
