Been to Strasbourg, it’s in the Alsace. lovely town, beautiful cathedral.

My neighbor,who's about 80,was born and raised there and lived in France until she married a US serviceman.She speaks English,French,German and a local mixture (can't recall what she calls it) fluently but she has a rather strong German accent.She says that she's been mistaken for a German even in France.

That's not entirely suprising given the number of times the Alsace has changed ownership between Germany and France in the last 250 years.
