I recently noted that back in the horse-and-buggy era, when the majority of people lived in rural areas, they managed to find their way to their polling station on the one day that they got to vote, and find it on the correct day, before the advent of mass media. If voting means so little to people that they won't be bothered to know when and where to vote, in this day of mass media, public transportation, and urbanisation, they shouldn't be voting anyway.

100% agree

I saw a photo of some old Russian lady who walked something like 19 miles to cast her first ballot after the ussr fell. People here can’t even be bothered to get out of their Jammie’s. They need weeks to vote. It’s shameless.
