ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Early voting just started last week in Maryland, but there are already accusations that some voting machines are changing Republican votes to Democrat. Now Republicans are calling for an investigation by the State Board of Elections.

“We’ve heard from scores of citizens in our district and around the state who have had this problem where they hit one button to vote for one person, and when they go to the summary they see that the other person was checked,” said Del Nik Kipke, (R) Anne Arundel County.
Republicans say they’ve received several dozen reports of Republican votes being changed to Democrat.

So far, this is the only plus I see in early voting. It exposes some problems before the election.
ANYTHING OTHER THAN A PHYSICAL PAPER BALLOT IS AN INVITATION TO FRAUD.And people who will steal your money will steal your vote.

but who’s to say that the summary reflects what is actually reported?
The next war in America won’t be over religion, territory, or race, etc.. IT WILL BE TO SCRAP OUR ELECTORAL SYSTEM AND START OVER. The Dems have destroyed what was once the best electoral system on Earth. The Dems modifying our system TO ACCOMMODATE VOTER FRAUD must be addressed and remedied, PRONTO!!

More reports of “malfunctioning” voting machines in MD switching votes for republican candidates to dems. Not just in the govenor race, but also in the House of Representative races.
Reading the article, I see that they’re trying to blame the voters for having too large or too long fingernails, etc. Really? I would think that the fingernail issue, especially, would not always result in a rat vote from a Republican voter.
It’s an accident, the code is displaying to the screen how it’s going to write your vote to the database.
Every fifth R vote is being changed to D.
This is why Biden and his boss don’t expect to lose the Senate and why they weren’t worried in ‘12, either.
Yeah, the programmers should have rigged at least ONE machine per district to switch the RAT vote to R, to keep it clean.
All early votes should be scrapped TODAY. Election day in November 4. If you can’t find a way to get off your butt and vote, your opinion doesn’t count. If you are legitimately unable to make it, you qualify for absentee. If you don’t qualify, show up in person or don’t vote. Your choice.
Finally, State issues photo ID and purple fingers.

I am just curious. I know this is set up to intend to cheat. But if voters voted for individual candidates instead of pulling the Republican lever for all, do you think this could be avoided?
I’d like to receive a paper stub that goes with my paper ballot. Then I would like to be able to go online and check to see that my votes were recorded correctly.
If my votes are incorrectly recorded I could contact the SOS and they could pull the actual ballot for confirmation and change the tally to the correct one.
I can wait a few weeks for an election outcome as long as its correct.
