WH has hindered, not helped, say Dems

Democrats are casting blame on the White House as their sense of foreboding rises with the midterm elections just a week away.

The core of the detractors’ argument is simple: President Obama could be doing more to keep the Senate in his party’s hands.

But the president’s defenders say he is boxed in by political realities. Even as some Democrats call for him to be more vocal and prominent, candidates in battleground states are paddling furiously to put as much clear blue water as possible between themselves and the man in the White House.

Still, the chorus of complaint is growing. Some Democrats assert that the administration’s flubs on healthcare and Ebola have been electorally costly. Others allege a failure to excite the base. Still others say that at times the White House just hasn’t seemed unduly bothered whether or not control of the Senate flips to the GOP.

Harry Reid has been cynically protecting Democratic senators -- and President Obama -- from difficult votes. The rationale was to spare vulnerable midterm Democrats from having to take difficult votes on issues such as the Keystone XL pipeline, EPA rules and immigration reform.

Reid's strategy backfired bigtime b/c loyal lock-stepping
Democrats are now Crazy Glued to an unpopular Obama.

"I hereby dub you a major loser."

===================================================

Thanks to Reid's cockamamie strategy of kicking the legislative can down the road, GOP challengers now get to repeat over and over, "My opponent voted with the president 97-99% of the time."

Currently in production on Youtube: Dummycrats meeting in hallways---saluting smartly, heels clicking sharply, saying "Go to hell, Obama."

ROTFLOL.

It’s clear Valerie Jarrett wants Mitch McConnell or John Cornyn to run the Senate for the 2nd half of Obama’s term instead of Harry Reid.

None of this new may be enough to overcome the massive rat election fraud.

Let’s hope we’re not all sitting around after the election wondering what the hell just happened.

Democrat logic usually escapes me, probably because it is oxymoronic, or perhaps just plain moronic.

Democrats supported all of Obama’s policies, including the hated Obamacare fiasco, for which every democrat voted, whereas no republican did. Now they say they are being hurt at the ballot box because of Obama’s policies. Really. Then why the hell did you support them?

Some democrat blow back against the President might have given us the Keystone Pipeline, and might have averted the ISIS slaughters in Iraq and Syria. And a strong call for an obvious quarantine could have kept Ebola off the front pages. Look in the mirror, democrats. Plenty of blame to go around.
