Obama won’t get to decide.

In my opinion, that isn’t going to happen. The push back against ISIS has been limited due to the limited amount oil produced in the area they control.

If they were actually capable of taking the major production areas in Iraq, the Saudi’s and Iran would fight for real.

But for you purists -— if one state like WVA or Kentucky would fall into the hands of Liberal Democrats and you are the Majority leader in the House or the Senate or the President...

The reason we are in this mess is because the taintists insist upon the "winning" strategy of running loser candidates. Besides, the policies of the Obama administration are in no way different from the policies of a potential Romney or McCain administration. We've got Romney's domestic (healthcare) policy and McCain's foreign policy (pro-jihadi) right now.

Yep.

Those damned Constitutional purists blocking the way of government progress.

Guilty as charged.

Your Keystone Pipeline argument is pure strawman. Explain how access to the Gulf for Canadian oil is part of an American National oil policy. I’m all for putting more oil in the marketplace (especially every time a new company wants to frack our Eagle Ford mineral rights).

Keystone is argument for less government interference, not more. It’s the Feds and their current view of “national energy policy” that’s holding up Keystone, not Oklahoma.

Your strawman has nothing whatsoever to do with empowering the government to restrict what kind of vehicle I can drive. For my own good, of course... Indeed, Keystone is evidence against your point of promoting government interference as policy.
