The military’s top brass has recommended that all American troops returning from the mission to combat Ebola in West Africa be quarantined, the Pentagon announced Tuesday.

Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters that Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel “shares the concerns by the chiefs about the safety and well-being not only of our troops but also of their families,” but has not yet made a decision about whether to approve the recommendation from the Joint Chiefs.

Hagel received the chiefs’ recommendation on Tuesday, shortly after Army leadership decided to isolate Maj. Gen. Darryl Williams and 10 other soldiers for three weeks to ensure they are not infected after spending time in Liberia, where they were participating in Operation United Assistance.

NO U.S. troops to the Ebola hot zones . It's NOT their mission . No matter what their so-called 'commander and chief ' says . Just say "No" , do not go .

But no quarantine for civilian doctors who've worked directly with Ebola patients. Got it.

Seriously, I don't know why anyone would volunteer to serve under this maoist clown.

The Joint Chiefs are completely in cahoots with Obama or their pensions are being threatened if they dare speak out.

Personally I believe we’re asking for big trouble by sending in thousands of airborne unit combat troops to a country known as Liberia. Which according to some functionary appointed by “Obama The Magnificent Incompetent” are being sent there to help construct infastructure for a series of Ebola health clinics.

Liberia is a country created by former American slaves who’s capital,Monrovia,is named after an American President James Monroe. According to a report I heard from a local conservative talk show host which I could be wrong,(and truly hope so) reported. “The city has only 7 or 9 public toilets, and a mere 26 miles of fresh water piping.”

Right now the country has just gotten through a bitter civil war and seems to be the current epicenter of the Ebola outbreak that btw started after an infestation of caterpillars. I mention that because Sierra Leone where the epidemic originated from had the same experience.

Here is some of the other krap that is going on there;

While it’s obvious we gave this effort by former enslaved American citizens to return to the continent they were taken from meger attention and support following its creation than what should been given.

While heaping praise on those who volunteer But denying that option to our forces. Under present circumstances we should be circumspective of the assistance we offer. Certainly sending combat units not equipted with the knowledge, training, or backgound to do what is needed. Placing them in harms way in an area where the likelyhood of contracting a deadly disease is pre eminent simply because it suits political symbolism is madness.

Exactly!

That is Obama's entire mission.

Demoralize, Discourage, Destroy or Disband what was the finest military on the planet.

If he can incite a coup attempt along the way, so much better, as that will serve to Discredit the military.

Be careful what you wish for, Obama. Actions have (often unintended) consequences.

So you still think the 101st are Airborne, and that we are sending in thousands of them?

Don't send any troops there at all. Problem solved.

Send any 'rats would want people to go there over there permanently. Another problem solved.

Is it an impeachable offense for the President to try and kill as many American troops as he possibly can?

Keeping the homeland unprotected, another diabolical plan? They will quarentine the troops and keep them out of the US but side with the hipster doctors who where let back into the country and are ranting about sueing the government and their rights have been violated by being quarentined. You read between the lines

Ho-ly crap! The bosses have finally cought the ‘common sense flu’. The troops figured this out in less than five minutes and some of them were already planning to do it on their own.

The Chiefs are speaking out in favor of quarantine, and I admire them for that.
