A union of federal immigration-law-enforcement workers issued a statement pleading for the American people to pressure Congress to block President Obamas expected executive orders on immigration.
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services union president wrote of constant violations to the Immigrant and Nationality Act in his letter.
This statement is intended for the public: if you care about your immigration security and your neighborhood security, you must act now to ensure that Congress stops this unilateral amnesty. Let your voice be heard and spread the word to your neighbors, wrote union president Kenneth Palinkas. We who serve in our nations immigration agencies are pleading for your help dont let this happen. Express your concern to your Senators and Congressmen before it is too late.
Palinkas said that the agency has become a rubber stamp for people who want to enter the country, claiming they have even allowed terrorists into the United States.
Whether its the failure to uphold the public charge laws, the abuse of our asylum procedures, the admission of Islamist radicals, or visas for health risks, the taxpayers are being fleeced and public safety is being endangered on a daily basis, he wrote.
Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus told tea party activists that a Republican-controlled Congress would fight the executive orders if the GOP takes the Senate in November.
While I cant speak for the legislature, Im very confident we will stop that, Priebus said. We will do everything we can to make sure it doesnt happen: Defunding, going to court, injunction. You name it. Its wrong. Its illegal. And for so many reasons, and just the basic fabric of this country, we cant allow it to happen and we wont let it happen. I dont know how to be any stronger than that. Im telling you, everything we can do to stop it we will.
The GOP is silent.
Silent and enabling since FAST & FURIOUS began murdering LEO.
Now, bioWMD come in over the borders, open because of
Obola and the EXEMPT Congress.
Did this union support and vote for Obama twice?
That’s an interesting question I’d like to see an answer to also...
“Begs the public for help”. But can’t go so far as to beg the public to pub Republican adult leadership in charge. That is rich.
I think I fixed that correctly as to what you meant to type. Is that correct?
Unfortunately there are a good number of people on this site that won’t “buy” your sound reasoning. I know from experience.
Dont they have diapers to change, voter registrations for illegals, welfare entitlement processing, and diseases to contract. No one in DC cares what the border patrol wants.
I just flew in internationally to Denver. The US immigration line had 2 ICE agents. The foreign line had 6. I am surprised they didn’t have sprinklers spraying urine on the American line.
I understand the sentiment and mostly hold it myself but I also understand that there is a big difference between opposing a single candidate and the idea of taking down the party when the democrat nazis of America are the only other option.
Go out on strike.
Unions go out on strikes because of working conditions, safety and other issues all the time.
If they feel that strongly about it, they can come up with a reason for a work stoppage.
“”If they feel that strongly about it, they can come up with a reason for a work stoppage.””
PLUS if they feel that strongly, how about making their presence and opinion known on TV where more people will get to see and hear the message...INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATION!
Hear, hear......
LEOs can’t go on strike and a work stoppage will result in their immediate termination, thus taking them out of the fight.
Their best bet is to keep making noise and the louder the better.
I agree completely, but they seem to ignore realities. Believe me I am so upset with the Republicans the only thing I will give them is my vote.
