Government-Mandated Hysteria

The media starts hysterical panics the way that Burger King makes burgers, but now it’s bemoaning “hysteria” and “panic” over Ebola. It’s silly for Americans to be worried about a lethal virus that has killed thousands, the self-proclaimed experts insist. It’s time to get over our irrational Ebolaphobic fear of a deadly epidemic.

I want to believe America is growing up, educating herself and growing a pair ...

Maybe that should be educating HIMself and growing a pair.

I meet more people willing to discuss political matters these days than before. I know we discussed politics during the Clinton years, but that was more of arguing the morality of a man rather than the righteousness (or unrighteousness) of politics in general. People seem more concerned about what is happening to them on a personal level than as the citizen of a nation.

and all politics begins at the kitchen table.

We should panic over an average temperature increase of 0.01 degrees per year over the past 140 years (since the end of the Little Ice Age). We should not panic over a deadly and incurable disease that is doubling monthly. Democrats and their minions are amazing - evil but amazing.
