How sad that these children will never get the chance to make mistakes, to live, to be mortal.
They are not destroyed, just never get the chance to live a mortal life. That child goes back to God.
Once God makes a person of survival status, they can never be destroyed unless they make the free will choice not to stay with God.
Then and only then are they obliterated as if they had never existed.
Instead of ensuring that the child is raised in a good home, these abortive mothers would rather "rescue" a dog and shower it with Chrismas presents.
It's easier for them to be the steady source of food for a dog, and thereby be guaranteed a friendly greeting at the door.
*sigh*
I think the motivations of this society are very, very sad.
