What gripes me most is that MOST (if not all) of these football ‘recruits’ are under aged and shouldn’t be drinking at all. The fact that they feel it is okay to treat booze and ‘broads’ in such an uncouth manner is frustrating. We are supposed to be raising sons to be men of honor not DBs that fit into the dimorat mode

Let see the starting QB you refer to was one of 4 starting QB’s and was handled appropriately, put off the team and voluntarily left the school. I believe he is now on a PAC12 team. Not sure morals is the right call. Being an individual who made a poor choice as a 19 year old is more like it. Bar is high at Service Academies. The choices most of these players made who were “asked to leave the team” would have most likely been suspensions at “regular schools”. Again a high bar of conduct is required.

Not sure any of the 10 L’s last year were due to clock mgt. Not sure there are any 20pt plays in the last minute. You are upset about the last two minutes of a recent win.

At any Academy a win is a win. As to play calling, check the Navy football board re: Navy game. Again I digress, this thread is about USMA.

Annapolis grad weighing in...
FWIW

First thought was... Poor humor ... if they used women from any of the academies during my time, then they were wasting effort...

Serious note: if true, then the coach and officer sponsor need to be held accountable, and the supe will probably go down as well, as he should. We expect and demand personal, academic, and professional excellence far more then we demand athletic excellence. Any booster, alumni, or strap hangers even remotely involved need

To be purged as well.

I don’t care which academy is involved. Integrity matters.

One thing about all the military academies, is that you have to be highly intelligent to be considered for one. There are no basket weaving classes in any of one of them.

I don’t know. They made a video during that “Gang Nam Style” bit that put forward some fine feminine pulchritude.
