The interesting part is the first 1/2 of the skit isn’t parody: it is how the press conferences went almost word for word.

Possibly not at all. Put in mind that Obama is throwing his temper tantrums at other Democrats even now over how they go against him in New York and Illinois for their own state quarantines. Obama is now such a pain in the rear for plenty of Democrats that it’s worth it to support the other Democrats such as Cuomo, while going against Obama.

SNL did a remarkably good job of mocking Obie...down to the “accent”
New Yorkers are less than thrilled to have ebola in their city. It was surprising and refreshing to see this relatively pointed jab at the inept handling of the situation by those in charge.
I’ve noticed a subtle shift towards the center over recent years of SNL as Tina Fey and Seth Myers have departed. Much less cheerleading for the socialists of late. I’m sure Valerie the Shrunken Applehead Lady Jarrett was not pleased with this skit.
