I lived in NE Thailand for 2 1/2yrs a while back, and I agree with your assessment of Thai immigration. They don’t screw around. People who have never been to Thailand do not realize that some Thai hospitals would put American ones to shame.

I wish they’d work harder on solving their STD issue. When I trained there while in The Marines in 97 it was well known that Thailand was the STD and child sex market of the world. Each place has their differing demons.

I lived in NE Thailand for 2 1/2yrs Where in Esarn were you? My 2nd Thai wife was from Udonthani. My almost 3rd was from Nongbualamphu.
