This should make renewing the Soviet Empire a lot more difficult.

Before we all pee down our legs with excitement at the potential for a strong recession in Russia, It is wise to recall the dangers possessed by a wounded bear, particularly a Russian bear. If this were Iran, which is already pretty messed up. I would be quite pleased. For now, ‘they’ are containable... That of course in all of this, if we had a real president. I also tend to think if Harvey milk toast were not in office, the relations with Russia may or not be more friendly, but at least I think there would be greater respect (or maybe I should say..A..respect) for the US presidency and America by the Russian leadership.

Don’t worry the irrelevant President Obola is going to cripple fracking, end the the pipeline so the oil price goes back up.
This is in keeping with his pledge to Putin to be more flexible

Economy in a fall can cause war. Let us not get excited.

Strange how Russian leaders never seem to catch on to the fact that the economy is their weak flank.

I don’t think it is good news. It is being orchestrated by the west. Internally, Putin is wildly popular, but this paints him into a corner where violence against neighbors is his only way to save face.

I don’t see how any nation in economic peril can be “good new”. Also, I don’t see how Russia is our enemy at this point in time. China poses an actual threat; and, our own government is a clear and present danger to US citizens.

Nice... With us cracking we are helping sink the Russian economy. Maybe the Russians will tell Putin to hit the road...
