I’m in general agreement with that, but it’s still wealth being transferred out of the U. S.

If it’s spent here, I’m all for it. If it’s sent there to burn off, I’m not.

$100 million bucks can spark a lot of economic activity. That sparks even more.

Just think of all the jobs created and all those grateful people working all the time to create the facilities and of course, protect this country. Our money should be spent here for once.

The specifics please are never mentioned. Who will it be given to, how will it be spent, and who has ultimate authority over it? These points are never mentioned, nor is it the intent of the recipients to ever acknowledge it, whoever they may be. Tell me there won’t be a bunch of corrupt politicians in Africa that will quickly retire on another continent, or off shore island as a result of this.

My point? Liberals give to further their own interests, not to really solve the problem intended. All form, no substance. There has been millions given for “mosquito nets” in Africa. Really? Just bring back DDT and problem solved. But we can’t have that, not politically correct.

Remember the “Concert for Bangladesh? Not one penny ever made it to Bangladesh. Look it up.

“$100 million bucks can spark a lot of economic activity.”

The $100 million was already “sparking” where it was.
