CDC’s published mission: “CDC increases the health security of our nation. As the nation’s health protection agency, CDC saves lives and protects people from health threats.”

I would say driving drunk into a tree is a health threat.

If everything is a ‘disease’, then yes.

They need to change their name from Centers for Disease Control to Centers to Everything Control.

So don’t drink and drive moron.

It doesn’t take the CDC for someone to know that.

This is a conservative site. We don’t need nannies to hold our hands.

If you cannot see the problem with a federal agency which calls itself the "Center for Disease Control" expanding its reach so as to justify lecturing us about our driving habits, then you MAY be posting to the wrong web site.

I know what a disease is. The CDC should be addressing national security issues associated with the spread of communicable diseases and protecting the people of this nation from the health threats associated with communicable diseases.

They have NO business involving themselves in guns, cars or any other issues.
