David Corn: The problem is African-Americans don’t realize they’re being “intimidated” by the GOP

Liberal umbrage-monger David Corn– of the Mitt Romney 47% and the Rand Paul hates Dick Cheney video fame– says the difficulty with making African-Americans angry enough to vote against Republican “intimidation” tactics is that they don’t realize they’re being intimidated…

Chris Matthews: What about the attempt to intimidate them out of voting?

Corn: Well, that’s true. It’s happening…and when you do that– when people wanna vote or they’re thinking about voting in an election– they do get ticked off and it motivates them.

But…they are so disaffected or so distant from this election that they may not even know that they’re not being allowed to vote.

You don't deal with the black market much, do you?

I can't remember the last time I really needed an ID.

No bank accounts, BTW.

Black market won’t get me past stupid TSA, get me married or divorced, or get me a real hunting license (OK, maybe a bogus-looking fake license, but I don’t need the state game guy booking me on fake hunting license charges and doing state time for such a petty deal). :)

Not getting married, and I've been divorced without an ID.

And I'm not interested in a hunting license.

There are ways around having the 'required' ID.

In one case I had to give a thumbprint to cash a $15K check. It can be done.

You have no clue how much of the world lives.

And I'm pretty sure the ID requirement won't change the provisional voting affidavit that most states have. No ID required.

When I left the states in 1978 and came back in 2010, with an exception of seven years, I’ve lived outside of the US for most of my life. The three year span in 2010? Living out of Arlington, I came to discover almost constant requirements of showing up for something, and they wanted an ID for just about everything. Compared against 1970’s, it was like night and day with this ID business.

I stood and watched eighteen year old kids carded when buying a pack of smokes. I watched nineteen year old kids carded when trying to buy beer. I had a credit union rep who wanted me to show two forms of ID. I tried to rent a hotel room in the middle of North Carolina and had the clerk demand an ID to match the credit card.

Everything is now boldly regulated to require some stupid ID, with the anti-crowd saying voting is the threshold where you shouldn’t have to show an ID. Yet they’ve pushed the whole agenda for years to force ID on everyone for dozens of marginal acts. I had a cold while traveling in Alabama four years ago, and wanted some over-the-counter stuff....and the Wal-Mart clerk wanted me to show Id to get the stuff. That’s how stupid this has gone.

That may be how it goes in your neat little law-abiding world.

I can assure you that there is a whole 'nother world out there.

Election DAY, needs to once again be Election DAY! If you have not registered, tuff luck! No provisional anything! I never believe provisional ballets are being left out of the final tally. They are just adding them in. No 14 Day Election DAY! No early anything. No ID, no vote. No onsite registration. All of this needs to stop now!

Bloodshed is the ultimate result of all this fraud.

The rats’ base is generally apathetic and lazy.

They benefit from lax rules like same day registration, motor-voter, etc, because their base, otherwise, wouldn’t bother to register to vote.

And early/mail voting, same thing. If they can’t be bothered to show up to work on time, then they sure can’t be counted on to show up on a specific election day.

So, the circumstances of voting is just as much a matter of ideological differences as the vote itself.

When you push for a strict voting standard, this is inherently reducing the left’s voter turnout. They know it, and we need to be less accommodating.

O’Keefe released a new video - and in it a Democrat operative is talking about the ‘black community’ and how they don’t care and how to take the ballots they’re thrown away and cheat with them.

It’s an eye opener for anyone who thinks white democrats don’t look down on blacks. I’ll get the link for you.

So I am understanding he just called a whole segment of society stupid. Where is the outrage? Where are the calls that he is a racist?

David Cornholio is telling black people they are too stupid to know what's happening around them. He is an arrogant and condescending douchebag.

So basically, David Corn thinks that African-Americans are too stupid to think for themselves.

If someone doesn’t even know they’re being intimidated, then they’re not really being intimidated, are they?
