Recently updated American Military Regulations are very clear.

Only gay members of the armed forces are issued live ammunition. That is done to prevent attacks from gender normative evangelical Tea Partiers.

This works because our POTUS, a gay fellow from Kenya, has made it clear to potential foreign enemies that he will personally drive them mad with equivocal non-stop nonsensical statements if they try any funny business. He has also said that "he will stand with the Muslims," if push comes to shove. So, we will have no need to take pot shots at his Muslim pals. Indeed, they may well join gay members of the armed services to protect our nation against Tea Partiers, racist militias, and white lynch mobs.

Also, Pentagon researchers have found that traditional infantry weapons are largely ineffective when battling viruses like Ebola, not to mention being hard to operate when wearing a hazmat suit in 130-degree temperatures in the African bush while building hospitals and clinics, and taking care of infected patients. This use of the military is being carefully planned by Team Obama. Each service man or woman being sent in harm's way is to receive 4 hours of intensive medical training, a bottle of hand sanitizer, and will be billeted for two nights in a Holiday Inn Express near the departure airport.

This careful planning is why they pay the Soetoro Boy the big bucks.

Not only Canada lost a fine young man today. The world lost a fine young man. Breaks my heart to see so many decent people butchered by hate-filled savages.

But I agree totally with what you said. If the bastards want to go fight "Jihad?" Let them. With any luck they will find themselves under a JDAM. But when they leave North America? Pull their Passports. Never to return to our wonderful countries again.

The ceremonial guards should continue unarmed. But posted on all four corners should be armed guards.

Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown are for ceremonial purposes and their long & honored tradition of guarding the Tomb is stellar. If you watch the Tomb Guard Commander conduct the inspection of their rifle, it’s plain that it is NOT loaded.
The Commander however, carries a loaded sidearm, and there are other Tomb Guard personnel in their very nearby office. It’s safe to assume that other sidearms are available there too, as well as other weapons. Some of the Tomb Guards today are actually Military Policeman - not by design as MOST are Infantry. To facilitate giving women the opportunity to become Tomb Guards, a Military Police unit was attached and under the command of the 3rd Infantry’s Tomb Guard unit as women could not serve in INFANTRY units. That’s changing as today, women ARE going through the Army Basic infantry Course at Ft. Benning.
Someone in another forum suggested that the Tomb Guard would call the US Park Police - NOT LIKELY. The Cemetery is ON Fort Myer and the Military Police from there would be the FIRST responders as they are MUCH CLOSER. The US Park Police, and perhaps Arlington Police would also be likely backup responders.
The Tomb Guard himself while unarmed, WILL most DEFINITELY defend the Tomb. Further it would seem very likely that the Tomb and the Guard’s area are closely monitored by CCTV, so he wouldn’t have to actually “call” for assistance.
