Blow by blow, Ferguson cop's FULL version of why he shot Michael Brown...
The London Daily Mail ^ | October 22, 2014 | Kieran Corcoran

* Fuller version of Wilson's account of killing emerged today.

* Wilson said Brown, 18, hit him in the face before grabbing his drawn pistol.

* Allegedly twisted it towards Wilson's hip in desperate struggle.

* Wilson said he managed to fire the gun, and hit Brown's hand.

* Said after that Brown fled, turned, and charged at him again.

* At this point, Wilson said, he fired several more shots, killing Brown.

* Lawyers for Brown's family angrily denied the claims.

* Wilson's version contradicts other accounts of the August 9 killing.

A Missouri police officer's full account of why he shot dead unarmed teen Michael Brown has been revealed for the first time - and he describes a frantic struggle inside his police car during which Brown grabbed the officer's gun, twisted it around and pointed it at him.

Darren Wilson’s testimony, as leaked to the St Louis Post-Dispatch, fills in holes in the chronology of the shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, on 9 August left by an earlier excerpt of his testimony leaked at the weekend – and is sure to further stoke the controversy surrounding the shooting.

The police officer’s dramatic account of events depicts a life-or-death struggle inside his police car with the 'incredibly strong' teen – after Brown allegedly punched him in the face and reached for his gun.

And, significantly, Wilson claims he shot Brown dead as the teen charged at him on the street – after the alleged attacker apparently retreated for a period when he was shot in the hand by Brown during the struggle in the car....

Wilson's version contradicts other accounts of the August 9 killing.

The only thing that matters is the evidence. Does the evidence support Officer Wilson's account or does it support "other" accounts?

I am sure that will trigger a new round of rioting. Of course, I think that regardless of what happened out there, riots are going to happen again.

They like rioting. It gives them something to do. And loot.

You can jam a cell phone but jam the internet in a specific locale? You could totally block specific IP addresses, I suppose. But, the whole thing sounds too fantastical. I don’t believe it’s credible. It sounds a little too much like what someone thinks a conservative prepper sounds like, a leftie attempt at playing conservative online media.

The Defense Department (not Al Gore! LOL) came up with the Internet, so if anyone can “jam” it in any way, you’d think it’d be the government.

Yes it gives them something to do, but they like free stuff too.

I could be wrong on this but, I think, that the thumb wound was pointed to early on by protestors as evidence that MB had ‘hands up’ or was in hands-out defensive position, but if the wound was rec’d in the vehicle, then there goes that balloon.

So far, what’s been ‘leaked’ has followed right along with Mr. Darian Johnson’s account of how the events began, from an altercation over the vehicle door, to Mr Johnson saying the gun went off in the car and he could see the flash.

There was a witness who's voice was recorded on a cell phone very shortly after the shooting that tells someone nearby that Brown charged the officer and thought the officer was missing with his gun because Brown kept on coming as he was firing.

That is a witness that had no reason to lie.

And it is consistent with what Wilson said happened.

It takes a lot of bullets to kill someone.

People love to second guess a cop’s actions. When its a justifiable shooting, a cop has no choice but to draw a gun and fire both to protect his life and that of others.

We haven’t heard a lot about Officer Darren Wilson’s side of the story. But after hearing him, would any of us have reacted any differently under a similar set of circumstances?

Michael Brown is not the innocent victim of a redneck cop as his family and supporters make it out to be. If he had obeyed the cop’s orders, he would still be alive today.

But some people want to exploit the shooting to gain advantage from a tragedy from which no one benefits.

Especially a young, tall, 300lb man.

I'm disabled, 54, 4 inches shorter and around 350lbs, but it'd take a squad of men to put me in a paddy wagon if I didn't want to get in one.

I don’t see the reason for drifting off in this direction. Just take a stand.

I would guess nearly all the internet access there is by smartphone and that could easily be jammed. It isn’t legal to jam so that would be surprising if they did and could have significant repercussions.

Wired Internet could only be blocked at the service provider backhaul connections without extreme measures.
