There are a couple of ways to keep your house warm this winter. You could choose the reliable heater youve known for years. Or you could keep gasoline and matches handy next to a fire pit you dig in the living room.
Most of us are going to pick the heater. The other choice seems reckless.
Your vote for lieutenant governor isnt so different. Sen. Leticia Van de Putte, a San Antonio Democrat, has been a steady legislative hand for two decades. Her opponent, Republican Sen. Dan Patrick, is potentially explosive, impact unclear. Also on the ballot are Libertarian Robert D. Butler and the Green Party's Chandrakantha Courtney.

Too long. Way too long for any politician.
She’s been running an ad against Patrick saying that he supports rape. Typical disgusting liberal dirty politics.
We had a candidate forum and DAN PATRICK came. We weren’t sure if he would we are a very very small town. It meant a LOT to us that he came. he has my vote. I have not seen any campaign signs this time! Usually they are everywhere!
When TED CRUZ runs the signs will fill all the yards!
She says she will reduce classroom size....
I assume via ABORTIONS!
Expected endorsement using the Texas Newspaper Style Manual.
For endorsements it goes like this:
1) If the race is close, and the Republican is a conservative, always endorse the Democrat.
2) If the race is not close, and if the Republican is NOT conservative, then endorse the Republican.
3) If the race is not close, and the Republican is conservative, do not endorse anyone
Rule #1 was applied to Lt. Governor race. Rule #2 was applied to the Governor race (and also presidential races, as they are never close in Texas). Rule #3 has been applied when Tom Delay was against token opposition.
Only an incompetent wiseass, “Latina” (Van de Putte?) would accuse others of “supporting rape”. She sounds as though she may have a few mental “issues”.
Van de Putte is Sancho Panza to Davis’ Don Quixote.
