I stand corrected — it is Pakistan that has F-16s.
The irony writes itself...
Actually, Pakistan doesn’t have LOTS of F-16s. Their largest fighter type is the Chinese J-7/Mig-21 clone, followed by the Mirage-3/5 series. They are planning to buy up to 200 of the newer Chinese JF-17s so they are not hedging all bets with F-16.
The Ratale purchase is less about Pakistan and more about China. India’s Mirage-2000s, Upgraded Mig-29s and Su-30s are more than enough for Pakistan.
