I don't think they want to. The Palis are homicidal and evil, but they are also inept, and feckless, not to mention ugly for the most part.
We destroyed Hussein (Sadam, not Barry unfortunately) who countered Iran. Dumb. Maybe Israel thinks Hamas, who is completely under their thumb, is better than a replacement like ISIS.
