That’s BS, and you should be ashamed of yourself for spreading false information like that around. Leprosy is treatable with the proper antibiotics, but silver isn’t one of them.

Sulfonamides arrest the disease. Dapsone and..... whatever. Hansen’s disease doesn’t really cause problems in western societies anymore.

In 2010, there was a review of silver-based ointments used as surface wound dressings, and it found little or no benefit from the silver, even when given in addition to antibiotic ointments.
Silver treatments are totally ineffective in treating the bacterial infection that causes Hansen’s disease (leprosy).

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
