At this point they have not recommended a border closing. From their perspective it would be akin to closing the barn door after the horses are out, because we already have cases here in the United States. We have ramped up screening efforts...."
Been there, seen it and got some cheap T-shirt last time.
Heck, they even had 50 million courses of medicine available, just in case.
What happened?
We were gonna die off finally, so Gaia wouldn't be so over whelmed.
But, like they said during the last hype "There is no point in shutting down our borders or restricting travel from countries where H1N1 was supposedly running rampant.
The H1N1 flu virus spreads between people in the same way that seasonal flu viruses spread. (Coughing, sneezing, etc)
swine flu could plausibly infect up to 50% of Americans, causing flu symptoms among some 60 to 120 million of them, and leading to as many as 1.8 million hospitalizations and 30,000 -90,000 deaths.(source: http://healthland.time.com/2009/08/25/h1n1-death-projections-doing-the-math/ )
Ebola isn't going to turn into a global pandemic and just eat humanity up like some black hole, killing off millions and millions as it rolls through every burg, hamlet, town and city.
The hysteria surrounding Ebola is very reminiscent of the Swine Flu, with dire predictions coming from everywhere.
Notably, several "Doctors" and "Researchers" at W.H.O. had interests in drug manufacturers of goo, like Tamiflu, they were actively promoting.
Yeah, they did whatever they could to ring those alarm bells and stoke the fires of alarmist insanity.
They were gonna strike it rich, even if the goo injections turned on people and instead of helping them, might have caused great harm with the results of neurological problems their goo would have caused.
I'd go back and repost my well researched musings on this but, I'm just going to accept that no amount of reason and examples or lack of probabilities will still have many saying "It's possible!".
Well sure, quite a few things are possible but, they really aren't probable.
Flame suit on...
Time will tell. We’ll see....................
Reminds me of that scene in Close Encounters where the gov killed a bunch of sheep and the military confronting the citizens were all respirated. Then, later on, some guys got through the barrier and saw everyone not protected, so they knew it was a sham.
This akin to saying once one horse jumps the corral fence just give up and let the rest of them go.
Pretty much and I think we all said that 5 years ago.
That is the same contrived logic they are using now.
H1N1 was gonna be the death of us and we’re still here...
It’s been t years since the last mass murderer was gonna get us all and transmission method and rates were much higher for that B.S.
Senator Obama rips Bush for being unprepared for avian flu epidemic:

Yeah... it's not an 'airborne' virus.
Scientists create hybrid flu that can go airborne
"H5N1 virus with genes from H1N1 can spread through the air between mammals."
