I was a Crew Chief on A-10s from ‘85 to ‘88...we never did FOD walks.
Just pointless for the Warthog.

We did many of these walks. Found Beale AFB infested with discarded safety wire on the flightline.
You would think they would clean up the area better before they unleashed those SR-71s for flight.
