CDC: You Can GiveBut Cant GetEbola on a Bus October 15, 2014 - 3:26 PM By Brittany M. Hughes
(CNSNews.com) - Dr. Tom Frieden, director for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said during a telephone press briefing Wednesday that you cannot get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, but that infected or exposed persons should not ride public transportation because they could transmit the disease to someone else.
We shouldn’t be having to do this. This is all a screw up. Thanks OBOLA!
Another product of affirmative action? Stupid in = stupid out.
This is WAY too close to home. I live ~ 15 miles from Akron and drive there at least once a week. I volunteer in both a prison and a free clinic there. Yikes!
They said what make us superior to the West African countries was the government’s ability to track potential infectees.
This can be done by private social media and newspapers. The government needs a hand.
Who knows? With the vast and varied travel schedules of Americans just simple logic would tell you that by now every state is likely to have had someone directly or marginally connected with those on that aircraft. The CDC is run by morons as are the government branches in D.C.
Ohio Ping
This idiot went home and spent the weekend planning her wedding.
She was probably shedding virus all over the place. So, it is possible she just killed most of her family and friends.
Wow.
People who cannot follow simple instructions.
Who wants to be she got paid “danger pay” for working in the isolation ward. And then she was a little celebrity at home for working in the “ebola” case, telling everyone how horrible and gross it was. And then she gave them all a kiss goodbye.
Idiot.
Sorry Ohio but I’m ready to get started on that once dreamed of canal from Lake Michigan to Lake Erie.
Nuthin personal.
Did you use the restroom on the Frontier Airlines flight that The Flying Nurse flew on?
Did you use any public restrooms that The Flying Nurse may have used?
Did you sit in any of the seats that The Flying Nurse sat on, while sweating?
If so, you might be a raciss for confirming that :-/
Report to #FireFrieden or #Obola, stat!
Ebola is gonna thin out the herd and I think stupidity and arrogance will go to the slaughter house first

Meanwhile, The NBC Affiliate in Indianapolis is talking about anything BUT Ebola. Hasn’t even mentioned it.
She also visited the Summa hospital in which she used to work, so that she could socialize with her former coworkers. My mother-in-law is a retired nurse and retired from the very same hospital. Her friend called a few hours ago and told her this. Mom-in-law’s friend still nurses at that hospital, and with over 35 years of nursing experience she is terrified at the consequences of this.
People can be educated but that doesn’t make them smart or logical. I would have quarantined myself if my job was caring for someone with a communicable deadly disease. This is ridiculous. The entire staff who took care of Mr. Duncan should have been quarantined and helped to make arrangements for taking care of their pets and families while they stayed in quarantine for 30 days, the hell with 21 days.
CNN reporting she called CDC prior to traveling back to Dallas. You guessed it.......................CDC said she could get on the plane even though she had a fever.

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
