A few years ago, I remember seeing bumper stickers or Facebook pages entitled: “If we can survive 8 years of Bush, we can easily survive another 4 years of Obama”.
.....Gosh, you really don’t see those around anymore.
The GOP could do a great ad with different shots of golf..not showing the player where the ball misses the cup, hit the sand, lands in a tree..water etc. Then the phone rings…”no he can’t talk now..he’s busy”.
Problem is we have “survived” five years of LBJ,four years of the peanut farmer, eight years of Slick Willy and the first four of Obamalamadingdong. We don’t have much strength left. Not much at all, in fact. It is like expecting someone who has had a quadruple bypass after his second heart attack and then survived cancer surgery to be able to fight off Ebola.
