The last week has brought some unfortunate firsts for the United States.
A patient from Liberia became the first person to die of Ebola in the U.S. and a nurse treating him became the first person infected with the virus on U.S. soil.

But I think the airlines are more motivated by profits, so unlikely to do this on their own. The only way they might be inclined to shut down, would be if they think they are going to start losing lawsuits from passengers/families of victims, to indicate that they are liable for spreading the disease.
But they are probably holding out for an offer from 0bama for a bunch of money, before they would consider suspending flights.

Recent studies conducted in West Africa have demonstrated that 95% of confirmed cases have an incubation period in the range of 1 to 21 days; 98% have an incubation period that falls within the 1 to 42 day interval. WHO is therefore confident that detection of no new cases, with active surveillance in place, throughout this 42-day period means that an Ebola outbreak is indeed over
Thats why this administration is handling Ebola in the warped manner they are - Americans don't care about third world suffering unless it affects them directly.
That is why we and our families are being exposed to this nightmare.

There’s also a report Ebola is in semen for 80 days following recovery from an infection.
Again, allowing travel from the hot zone countries to the U.S. is insanity.
A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.
It boggles my mind. Too bad there is no effective force to counter them.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
