There’s a grain of truth in this ocean of poor policy.
If nothing is done in West Africa, such that millions of people become infected, the chances of a breakout become higher than they are today.
Of course, that true fact has nothing to do with the issue under discussion.
No one is calling for a cessation of help from health care workers who want to volunteer to go help. The controversy is over allowing people in who are carriers of the disease. The American soldiers who were ordered to the area did not use a commercial carrier.
There is no reason to allow flights from there to here.
