“I promise I will see you again, and next time, you can call me Mom.”

It's most likely that mom is going to hell, unless she believes on The Lord Jesus Christ. The innocent, sinless child will be in heaven. There will be no reunion.

My question is, assuming that the "mother" makes it to heaven, "Why would the child want to call her "Mom"? Forgiveness does not always require the reestablishment of a previous relationship.
