A number of black Christian pastors and church leaders slammed the United States Supreme Court justices for turning down a case that would once and for all settle the dispute and divisiveness created by the issue of same-sex marriage. The National Coalition of Black Pastors and Christian Leaders characterized the court's decision -- "not to hear the case" and send it back to the lower courts -- as cowardice on the part of the nine members of the nation's highest court.
On Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, the U.S. Supreme Court simply stated that it would not review cases which overturned state laws of five states defining marriage as exclusively the union of one man and one woman. The African American Christian group was disappointed that the court gave no explanation for its seemingly arbitrary decision.

I agree with your sentiment. However, at least one of the lower court rulings imposing homosexual marriage was issued by a judge appointed by George W. Bush.
And we know how Anthony Kennedy, a Reagan appointee, had become so swishy on homosexual issues in court too. Sadly, we can’t blame all of this on liberal Democrat judges.
And what about Ted Olson? BKO must be rolling over in her grave.
Very true about Ted Olson. What has happened, that various conservatives decided to be in favor of homosexual marriage? Why did this happen? They wanted to prove how liberal they are? They are afraid of being called homophobic, since the liberals framed the debate on marriage, that anyone opposed is a bigot and homophobe?
The US Supreme Court is the only institution in this country that is MORE WORTHLESS and LAZY than the half-breed golfer in the White Hut. If I had one wish, it would be to force these bastards and bastardettes to actually go to work and help solve our most pressing Constitutional problems. And quit trying to twist the law into idiotic contortions in their decisionmaking! It should not take years for them to decide how many fairies are able to dance on the head of a pin!

Ted Olson.......... I’ve thought about Barbara Olson 100 times since her untimely death. And both of you are 100% correct about Ted. What DID happen to this guy? He used to be a brilliant lawyer for OUR side. Yes she must be spinning in her grave. Side-bar - do you remember right after she died Hildabeast wanted her book NOT to be published?
