The Praetorian press wants to nominate Romney for us so badly they can taste it.

I am not rooting for yet another Romney run, I actually like him. However, this cheerleading from his buddies in the press is getting annoying. Regardless, I hope the GOP wins in the NE.

The MSM wants Mittens to run. They know Hillary would clobber him in November.

And the GOP establishment too, wants him to be their standard-bearer.

'The Democrats want Romney to run, since they know they can beat him.'

No, the liberals want Romney to run because they know he's likely to enact more liberal policies and nominate more liberal judges than their whack-a-moles. The difference is that Romney would get these liberal policies passed through congress rather than by executive fiat.

Is there anyone who'd honestly believe that Romney wouldn't have 'fixed' ObamaCare by closing loop holes and clarifying language to pass judicial muster? That believes that Romney would have canned the sucker before it came into being, especially after RomneyCare in Massachusetts?

If you do, watch this video: Romney, in his own words, during the Republican Presidential Debates...

I don’t think Mitt Romney is a bad person, but he’s absolutely the wrong guy to put on a GOP ticket. Not when he’s already been clobbered once, and the cream of the younger GOP crop is coming into its own now. There are simply going to be better - and far more conservative - choices than Mitt Romney in 2016.

Now, I wouldn’t mind Mitt in a GOP administration. Put him at Treasury or Commerce. I think he’d be pretty good in either of those roles. But not in the WH.

Just my take.

What nonsense. Republicans LOST in MA and NH and Romney rose. They’re just looking for an excuse to MAKE Romney rise...because their other losers aren’t getting any traction, so they say, “hey, let’s try the retread plan again like we did with McCain and Dewey! Sure to win!!”

This plan only worked with Nixon, and Romney’s no Nixon. Nixon actually wanted power, and went after democrats with relish and abandon. He didn’t expect power to just be handed to him because the other guy was worse. That’s Tom Dewey’s thinking.

I think Romney would be a good choice for secretary of commerce or even secretary of labor. He’d be a good ambassador to the court of St James. There are lots of jobs for Mitt. President isn’t one of them.

Sure, let’s make it a 3-fer for ole Mitt.

Nothing like turning a 2 time loser into a 3 time loser.

At what point do they get a clue that this just might not be a good idea?

Brown and Baker will not win this November.

Brown is some 6 points behind and NH has made it very very easy for voter fraud to occur with same day registration.
People don't even have to live here to vote, all they have to do is sign an affidavit saying they are planning to move here. The affidavits are never followed up on.

And for Mass, well the Dem machine there is so strong that they will “count the votes over and over again till they come out right” to old time famous gangster.

Would just like to point out that while talk and hatred are cheap, let’s see all the talkers actually NOMINATE a Cruz, Palin, etc, rather than have to hear for the next several years how angry they are about Romney.

One thing I will totally dismiss Romney for, he could not have had a worse VP selection than Paul Ryan, who added zero to the ticket.

So northeastern voters electing two moderate Republicans is supposed to raise the national stature of a failed moderate “Republican” NATIONWIDE as he tries to become President for the third time.

And some people wonder why we don’t take the media seriously.

That’s an odd version of circular logic. By that count If republicans win in Texas Cruz should run. If they win in Arkansas, Huckabee should run, etc.
