Don’t bother to file complaints. Just vote wiser next time.

We got rats on the west side, bed bugs uptown. Go ahead, bite the big apple, don’t mind the maggots.

Combine that with TB, polio, and other third world diseases, mix in people who can’t speak English and don’t know how to use a toilet, declines in power, water, and transportation infrastructure, and increasing prices and debt, and - voila! - you have the fundamental transformation of America.

LOL!!!! love it...

there was a commercial on WPIX or WOR in the 70's or 80's of a superrat standing on a chair eating off of a plate on the table with a girls voice over saying "here kitty kitty kitty"

then it fades out to "does your child know the difference between a cat and a rat???"

it was spooky

That is why I always made it a point to take students out on a nature/birding hike every single year. 99% of them had never been out in nature. They were absolutely amazed that the birds could come and go as they pleased. I can never forget one kid complaining to me that the birds we saw "weren't in the same order as on the handout sheet." No, I am not making that up. I explained to them that this was nature, not a zoo, and that the wild creatures came and went as the urge called them. Some of the birds on the sheet may actually have been here an hour before we came or 30 minutes after we left, but they were not caged to be there when you came to see them. Another kid lodged a somewhat similar complaint one year--we didn't see all the birds on the sheet. I explained that the birds on the sheet were the most likely to be seen at this time of year, but it wasn't guaranteed. These incidents served to blatantly inform me how very removed from nature the kids were and therefore how great it was that they finally got to go on a nature hike.

A shame, isn't it?

We had two of these cats in our sun room this morning, left the door ajar.Husband encouraged their exit with a broom handle. Looked like mother and baby. Will have to keep that door closed!

Of course, that’s a possum, not a rat.

Yes, I know it’s a possum. That’s why it’s funny, that some naive person thought it was a cat. B.S. Zoology, 1976.
