Praying for your daughter, the other missionaries, and all of the people there.
Thank you, please keep bumping this. I should know more tomorrow afternoon. If the rains hold off it will be safe for her. However the area is devastated. Mudslides deposited rocks in all the fields and many homes were lost. Crops and homes gone. These people had nothing much to begin with.
My daughter has been working in the school for the deaf there on the island. two years full time.

It’s a very scary situation and I pray that you hear some good news before very long. She is so dedicated to be there to help the people as much as she possibly can!
I have seen a few mudslides in California...tiny compared to what these people are suffering through...and they are VERY dangerous and devastating to the land and anything in its way.

Prayers for all in this difficult situation. Who knows, maybe our heavenly Father will show the washed out farmers a vein of gold or other valuable that only the mudslides could have uncovered.
As St. Paul said (Phil 4:12-14, 19-20):

In every circumstance and in all things

of living in abundance and of being in need.
