I use to do service work for Albertsons in the city.
Had to deal with the police and fire depts as well as code enforcement.
Code folks were rather difficult compared with every other damn city down there.
They seemed to have a lot of stimulus money laying around a few years ago, and they didn’t miss an opportunity to spend it. Now when I check they hardly have anything on Onvia or their purchasing site. I guess that’s a good sign in that it leads one to believe that they don’t spend money they don’t have in hand.
