I suspect that was no accident.
So now it is Taiwan’s largest and most advanced research submarine?
No icebergs in the vicinity......................
Was in made in China?
from the article:
The incident is also being reported by Taiwans Liberty Times Newspaper. The newspaper reports that two people were killed and 43 have been rescued, including 25 people who sustained injuries. The report says the ship sank Friday night in the vicinity of the Penghu Islands, located in the Taiwan Strait between Taiwan and the China mainland. The area was likely experiencing weather related to Typhoon Vangfong just to the east.
A second report from Focus Taiwan News Channel says that search and rescue crews have recovered 44 people including one dead. One person remains missing. The report cites a Coast Guard official who added that the ship may have hit a reef.
I hope they were all wearing their water wings!
Somebody forgot to replace the drain plug......................
Yeah, I thought that too.
Maybe some people were afraid they might find something that others did not want found ..????
We’re there enough rifeboats?
China!
Somebody forget to put the plug back.....?????
The superstructure looks too large for the rest of the ship. Looks top heavy, like it would roll easily. A large wind target.
You may be right, I hadn’t thought of that. And apparently they didn’t, either..................
