Stroudsburg, Pa. When survivalist and alleged cop killer Eric Frein's photo appeared in the local paper as an ongoing manhunt unfolded in the rugged terrain of northeastern Pennsylvania, something jogged Lawrence Squeri's memory.
The name and face were dimly familiar to the retired professor, who taught Russian history to thousands of students during his longtime career at East Stroudsburg University. Then it clicked: The man police believe gunned down a State Trooper and wounded another had indeed sat in his class nearly a decade ago, attending for the beginning of a semester before dropping out and failing the course.

While they’re in the mood, can they get Obama’s, too?

lol
Instead of playing make-believe, he decided to have a real survival drama," Squeri told FoxNews.com. "He's playing out his fantasy."How would this guy know anything about the motivations of someone who sat in his class years ago? Just another pathetic pompous academic groping for a taste of fame.
Look at that other nut they chased down. The one where they shot some ladies car 120 times. He was living in someones home.
Was this worthless scumbag ever in the military? Or is he just one of the ‘wannabes’ that play soldier in the woods?............
He is very clever. They should just call off this search today is one month.
This guy is bullsh*tting. There is no way he remembers this guy unless he was a standout for some reason.

I doubt he truly remembers a damn thing about him and certainly would not have any knowledge of the guys activities outside of his class.
We get people here ‘lost’ on the Eglin AF reservation, and once some real bad guys were trying to escape police. They called up the AF and they used IR equipment to spot them immediately in the dark of night, deep in the woods. I see no reason why they can’t do the same in PA..............
LOL. If he was a radical lib this would be on page 117 in between ads for hearing aids and bras.
12!
Lol. Right? I'm with ya there!
1000 cops have been looking for him for one month. They cannot find him even the search dogs cannot find him. It’s time to give up. Maybe he will die in the woods or get eaten by a bear.
I take no pleasure in seeing our PSP look like Barney Fife’s nephews. All these hundreds of troopers and hangers-on stumbling over each other, deluding themselves that the killer is hanging around in those “few acres” of woods is embarassing.
To think he’s hanging around to play a game with them? Hogwash! This guy is fiendishly clever...and he IS toying with them...salting the woods with trinkets for the PSP to find and salivate over...meanwhile, he had already left the area a few days after the shooting and is holed up nice and cozy warm in a prearranged safe house somewhere in Dixie, LHAO watching the newscasts from the frigid north.
The very idea that just because he once had a photo made of himself in a winter uniform, they assume he’s hanging around, freezing his butt in Canadensis. What ever happened to thinking outside the box?
The reports of supposed sightings are merely BS from some Barney Fife types following the PSP, and massaging their delusions of grandeur by seeing it reported on TV. IMHO, of course.
PA has rattlers too.
I’m betting the guy offs himself. Some hunter will stumble across his remains ten years from now.
This was my thought on it too. Honestly, a little FLIR action could wrap this up, so long as he isn't hiding in a cave with a diaper on, he's gotta move at some point.
He’s probably in Boca cleaning pools
Supposedly they can’t tell the difference between a human and a deer.
