The DOD has training protocols and exchanges with dozens of countries and has been doing that for decades. Those have nothing to do with this specific mission, which is to set up medical facilities to isolate and treat the sick so the disease doesn’t spread further and to train locals to do the same. The Army also has an infections disease unit out of Ft. Detrick that has been in West Africa for the last 10 years. The US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) at Ft. Hood is the source for most Army clinical and support personnel and is a direct reporting unit run by a three star. And the term you were struggling with is “jackanapes”.

The "medical facility" has a front patient entrance, and a rear exit which leads directly to the crematorium.

Thanks. You are wonderful. The infectious disease unit, you propose- has never existed. Jack and apes, silly boy.

What is the term, you are struggling with, herr stormer?

Put down the tin foil, Ft. Hood is the home of the Army Medical Command. That'll be news to Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio.

Oops. Right you are. I wrote Hood but meant SH. At any rate, the comment I originally responded to was basically, “Why Texas?”.
