the CDC director and Obama have decided that the ability to travel here from ebola infested African countries is far more important than Americans lives. And except for 23 of them, the cowardly republicans are too chickensh*t to say anything about this insanity.

As I posted on an earlier thread,

All travel FROM any country where Ebola has been found should be banned. Except for persons with a valid US passport. This includes any indirect flights.

Travel from the US should not be banned.

He said that such a restriction would likely be ineffective and would make it harder for health officials to root out the virus.

“The only way we’re going to get to zero risk is by stopping the outbreak at the source” in West Africa, Frieden said.

And the only way we stop the outbreak at the source is to not let the source grow.
